MAPLE

A hybrid of red and silver maple. A very popular tree offering the excellent fall color of a red maple combined with a growth rate closer to that of a silver maple.
Acer x freemanii 'Celzam'
Celebraton Maple
Height 45' Spread: 20-25' Zone 4-7
Rapid growth, drought tolerance, great fall color, and the ability to grow in most soils. Does well in sun or shade, and is seedless.
Acer x fremanii 'Marmo'
Marmo Maple
Height: 70' Spread: 35' Zone 4-7
Vigorous grower with a strong central leader, excellent branching and a uniform, upright habit. The fall color is a mottled blend of red and green to burgundy, yellow and gold, depending on temperature. Adaptable to heavy clay soils
Acer x fremanii 'Sienna'
Sienna Glen Maple
Height: 60' Spread: 40' Zone 3-7
Excellent branching habit. Requires less pruning and forms a well-branched tree. Vigorous grower and has an excellent winter hardiness. Less susceptible to winter frost cracking, sun scald and dieback. Fall color is red to burgundy red. Smaller leaves and finer branching gives it a more delicate appearance.

A popular street tree. Also useful in large yards and parks. Provides thick shade. Tolerant of urban conditions. Yellow fall color. Wrap trunks of young trees in winter.
